lost 200,000 manufacturing jobs in the last decade, these companies established
an advanced energy business association to chart a new course.

Partnering with the foundation and the university community, these companies
have decided that the world’s energy troubles represent a rare business opportunity for our State. As one of the great manufacturing hubs, Ohio is strategically positioned to seize market share in the advanced energy industry. And as established Ohio companies and start-ups alike enter the advanced energy industry, they are finding the supply chain support they need is already here.
